When is the Hochsteinbaude open?
Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm, in winter until 5 pm – or by arrangement. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. The kiosk opens on Saturdays and Sundays from May to October in fine weather.

Public holidays and closures
We are usually open on public holidays, even when they fall on a Monday or Tuesday. When we close for our annual break, for a family celebration at the inn or because of a power or water cut, we mark the day in the calendar – it is worth a look before you set off on your walk.
