Menu: home cooking, coffee and cake
Freshly prepared, largely without ready-made products – from Königsberger Klopse to vegan cauliflower and pea curry, with beer from the region. In the afternoon there is coffee and home-baked cake. Cash only.
What we serve changes often – with the season and with what we can get fresh. This menu shows what we have most of the time. To find out what is actually on the table today, ask at the inn. If you are coming for a particular dish, please drop us a line beforehand.

The cosy parlour on the Hochstein
A rustic beamed ceiling, herringbone parquet and a white tiled stove that warms the whole room in winter: in the dining room of the Hochsteinbaude, walkers, families and regulars sit at wooden tables or on the long cushioned bench. The windows look straight out onto the beautiful Hochstein.
We cook everything fresh and largely do without ready-made products. There are always vegetarian dishes on the menu, along with beer from the region – and a high chair is ready for the little ones.
