An open-air wedding ceremony on the terrace with a view of the rocks, coffee and cake and the evening meal in the hall, dancing into the night. We set up the hall as you wish and are at your side from the first plans to the last dance.

A hall for celebrations in Königshain near Görlitz
A bright hall with a wooden parquet floor, daylight from two sides and a view into the woods: room for 80 guests at table, right next to the dining room, the Fireside Room and the terrace. Weddings, birthdays, the Jugendweihe coming-of-age celebration, Christmas parties or a funeral reception – we set the room up the way you want to celebrate, and we do the cooking.

Many uses
One hall, many occasions
The hall is not a fixed room: we rearrange tables and chairs to suit the occasion, the buffet with its warming dishes stands at the end wall, the cloakroom is by the entrance. The double doors lead straight out onto the terrace and to the granite rocks – the drinks reception is held outside, the meal is served inside.
Family celebrations
A christening, confirmation, Jugendweihe, milestone birthday or golden wedding: a festively laid table for 20 to 80 guests, with a set menu or a buffet from our kitchen.
Funeral receptions
A quiet, dignified setting for saying goodbye among family – coffee and cake or a hot meal, in the separate Fireside Room for 12 to 16 people if you wish.
Companies & clubs
A staff party, Christmas party, conference or general meeting: one long table, T-shape, U-shape or rows of chairs, a wall for the projector and daylight from two sides. Quiet in the morning, with a view in the evening.
Walking groups & coaches
Groups of 20 or more can book the hall for lunch or coffee and cake – booked in advance, so that everything is on the table on time.
Open-air events for up to 300 guests
If the hall is too small, we move outside: a marquee with 80 seats, the terrace with 120, and the festival ground with a stage for the Kirmes, our annual fair, and for village festivals. Up to 300 guests can celebrate outdoors up here.

The Fireside Room
The small extension on the south side
On the sunny side of the hall is the extension with the fireplace: a self-contained room of its own behind an old wooden door. A wall of windows along its whole length opens the view into the woods; there is a light oak floor and a wood-burning stove that keeps the room warm in winter. Very cosy, separate from the dining room – ideal for small parties who want to be among themselves.
Room for 12 to 16 people at one table: a birthday with your nearest and dearest, a family meal after a christening, a regulars’ table, a club committee or a dinner for the team. In winter with a crackling fire, in summer surrounded by green.

Facilities
Wooden parquet floor, daylight through six windows with a view of the woods and rocks, wrought-iron chandeliers, heating for celebrations in winter. Buffet line with chafing dishes, coat stands, a sound system for speeches and dancing. Step-free access via the terrace. We can provide decorations, flowers and table linen on request.
Overnight stays: we have no rooms ourselves – we will gladly give you the names of guesthouses in Königshain and the surrounding area.
Food and drink
A set menu, a buffet or coffee and cake – all from our kitchen, freshly cooked, with vegetarian and vegan dishes. We bake our cakes and gateaux ourselves, and the beer comes from the region. Drinks packages and children’s prices on request. Payment in cash or by bank transfer only.
Secure your date
Popular Saturdays from May to October are booked up early. Write to us with the date and the number of guests – we will then go through the schedule, seating and food together.
